Who We Are
We’re not just another climate organization. We’re the connective infrastructure that supports the voices people already listen to. We give them the science and resources for effective conversations that amplify our collective voice.
About
Our Why
Most people already know the climate is changing, and most are worried. What's missing is the connection to their daily lives, and the news that solutions exist and are already working. Research shows people talk about climate change when they see the people around them doing it, and stay silent when they assume no one else cares. That's where we come in.
Communication is a powerful climate solution. Nothing gets solved until people talk about it. The more we talk about it, the more we learn, the more trust we build, and the more we inspire each other to act.
We are not “another climate organization.” We are the hub that connects them all. We translate research into practice, equip the messengers people already trust, and work to make climate conversations a social norm by supporting, connecting, and amplifying climate voices around the world.
When trusted voices break the silence, the effect multiplies. They don’t just reach one person; they change what an entire community believes is normal, acceptable, and possible. That’s how culture shifts - and it starts with a conversation.

Equipped Messengers
Through training, playbooks, curated content, and community, Talking Climate Collaborative equips trusted messengers with the knowledge and confidence, communication skills, and ready-to-use resources they need to engage effectively.
More & Better Conversations
Equipped messengers have more frequent, more credible, and more culturally resonant climate conversations within their existing communities and networks — reaching people who may not engage with traditional climate organizations.
Shifted Social Norms
As more people hear trusted voices in their communities speaking about climate change, the silence breaks down and conversation becomes normalized. This also helps others understand that their neighbors and community care about climate change, breaking the myth that “nobody cares about it”.
Increased Public Will
Normalized conversation builds shared understanding, erodes misinformation, and increases the number of people who feel informed, motivated, and ready to prioritize climate solutions in their own lives and civic participation.
Policy Demand & Climate Action
A public with high climate IQ and strong collective will creates the political conditions for ambitious, durable climate policy — as well as accelerating individual and community-level behavior change that contributes directly to climate solutions.
